Todd Giraudo

Company Director & CEO - Principal Process Engineering Consultant

Introduction

Over thirty years’ experience in the development, operation, design, construction and optimisation of mineral processing facilities with an emphasis on hydrometallurgy including refractory gold treatment. The projects Todd has worked on varied from $10M to $4000M in cost and were typically complex hydrometallurgical processes incorporating new technology.

Core Competencies and Project Experience

Todd has commissioned 12 projects having lead process design roles for 5 of these projects. Currently involved with the process development and process optimisation on several pressure oxidation projects. Worked for clients, EPCM contractors and integrated teams. Comprehensive knowledge of project implementation from inception through to production.

Todd also acts as a subject matter expert representation for design reviews and HAZOP design safety reviews of complex hydrometallurgical projects specifically including pressure oxidation and high pressure acid leaching. Todd also provides expert engineering services for legal arbitration and litigation.

Qualifications

Todd’s bachelor degree was undertaken in Chemical Engineering and he graduated with Honours. Todd is a member and chartered engineer of IChemE.

Adam Hamer, Director of Operations at Process Plants International

Adam Hamer

Company Director & COO - Principal Maintenance Engineering Consultant

Introduction

With 30 years’ experience in mining and heavy industry Adam has held senior technical roles and management roles both locally and internationally. Adam is an adept maintenance specialist whose expertise lies in project management, maintenance leadership and business improvement on HPAL and POX processing plants, as well as a wide range of processing facilities in both the mining and the Oil and Gas industries.

Core Competencies and Project Experience

Adam has worked on the construction and commissioning phases of five facilities and held senior roles within the maintenance departments on 13 processing plants in various locations around the world.

Qualifications

Adam is a trade qualified Fitter and Turner and has worked in both trade and supervisory roles in industry for in excess of 15 years. Adam later obtained a Masters in Maintenance Management where his specific area of research was in planning and executing large scale industrial maintenance shutdowns.

Daniel Fisher

Company Principal - Principal Process Engineer

Introduction

With more than 15 years of experience in minerals processing and hydrometallurgy, Daniel has worked extensively in autoclave design, commissioning, hazard analysis and operational optimisation. Having a strong safety, operability and client training focus, Daniel has led projects to implement solutions to key operational issues for our clients.

Core competencies and Project Experience

Daniel’s recent roles have seen him lead teams to undertake design review, process optimisation and debottlenecking for our clients at hydrometallurgical plants in locations including PNG, Australia, Laos, Madagascar and Turkey.

Qualifications

Daniel’s bachelor degree was undertaken in the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering department at the University of Melbourne. He later obtained a Masters of Engineering Science by research, looking at nickel laterite slurry rheology and characterisation. A member and chartered engineer of IChemE, Daniel also speaks fluent Indonesian having completed a diploma of modern language at the University of Melbourne.

Mark Broome

Company Principal - Principal Operations Manager

Introduction

With more than 30 years of experience in the fields of mechanical maintenance and minerals processing, Mark has extensive knowledge in autoclave construction, commissioning and operational maintenance.

Core competencies and Project Experience

Mark has lead teams in construction/completion and commissioning of complex processing plants as well provided business unit management for various overseas projects.

With an emphasis on developing and leading teams of local and international specialists to achieve results, Mark has extensive project leadership background.

Qualifications

Mark has a Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering and has undertaken external management performance studies as well as many OEM equipment training courses.
